One of Naked Army’s greatest supporters is also an advocate of ‘grass roots’ marketing, which means our products are accessible to anyone regardless of geography.
‘We have supplied Naked Army’s figurines to individuals and Defence bases around Australia from Hobart, Cable Beach, Brisbane, to Mount Gambier. Some are used in private collections others are on public display and a number have been used as farewell or thank-you gifts within the military and associated organisations’ says Keith Harrison, RSL SA Marketing Manager. ‘The latest Vietnam figurines have been favourably received by the Vietnam veteran community for overall depiction, attention to detail and facial expression.’
RSL SA Marketing Dept also maintains display stands at militaria collectors' fairs, Sub-Branch and Unit/Association open days.
A close relationship and open communication between RSL SA and Naked Army ensures feedback opportunities, prompt and efficient service.
RSL SA also display the full range of figures in the State Branch reception area, where backup stock is kept and purchases can be made.
RSL SA produces 4 editions yearly of its newspaper ‘The Signal’ which is sent to members throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory.
It includes a Souvenir Sales page featuring product pictures and descriptions and an order form. Payment can be by credit card/postal order/cheque. Once processed an invoice is posted to the purchaser and delivery is direct from Naked Army to the client, by insured courier, means more efficiency, economy and less likelihood of damage.
